Attorneys Lincoln A. Brooks L. Donald Raub, Jr. Lincoln A. Brooks [lbrooks@reorglaw.com] Link Brooks, founder of the firm, is responsible for negotiating and structuring out-of-court workouts and providing strategic planning and consultation to debtors and others in the course of the reorganization process. Mr. Brooks has practiced insolvency law in Silicon Valley and the Bay Area for over twenty-five years. In that time, he has developed an extensive network of contacts with leading attorneys, judges, financial managers, bankers, and other business professionals. He has gained a reputation for objectivity and candor, especially during sensitive negotiations, which has resulted in a highly effective level of representation for all parties to the financial restructuring. Mr. Brooks is one of the nation's earliest proponents of prepackaged Chapter 11 plans and out-of-court workouts involving high-tech companies. Since 1980, Mr. Brooks has supervised over forty successfully confirmed prepackaged Chapter 11 plans. L. Donald Raub, Jr. [draub@reorglaw.com] Don Raub concentrates his practice in the litigation issues that arise in the course of Chapter 11 cases, including prosecution and defense of relief from stay motions, preference and fraudulent transfer proceedings, and more complex adversary matters. Mr. Raub also conducts most firm representations for bankruptcy cases and workouts related to real estate matters. Before co-founding Brooks & Raub in 1990, Mr. Raub practiced bankruptcy litigation with Murphy, Weir & Butler in San Francisco. Mr. Raub has extensive experience in bankruptcy procedure. He is a member of the American Bankruptcy Institute and has served on the U.S. Trustee's Chapter 11 Liaison Committee for the San Jose Division of the Northern District of California. Mr. Raub is a 1983 magna cum laude graduate of the University of California, Hastings College of the Law, where he was selected as a member of the Order of the Coif. He was admitted to the State Bar of California in 1983 and has been admitted to practice in all United States District Courts in California.
